What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?


'Development Hell Ltd' may want to distribute my magazine, as they claim to be the leading distributors of international electronic music magazines, with titles such as Mixmag, Don't Stay In, The Word, and more.

They may want to distribute my magazine because it's based on electronic music - the genre they want to distribute.

Another one would be 'New Bay Media' who publish the 'Electronic Musician' magazines, these may be interested in my magazine, due to it being the same genre / type of magazine.

The key point of my magazine is that it's electronic, and covers all the sub-genres of electronic, (glitch hop, dubstep, etc) and that it's an 'all in one' everything related to electronic magazine, from the charts, upcoming artists, electro related trends, news and so on, and that it offers it's own unique style in the market...

A publishing company, who would hopefully publish my work to a large audience, advertise it and focus on the general direction of the magazine (fashion, music, goods, art, or other) will help hugely in gathering an audience who will enjoy reading the magazine.

Financially, if this were to be a real magazine, there would be allot of saving gone into this before hand, then with that, spending on publishing, staff, distribution, printing and so on, will cost, and I can expect to not make any profit for 1-3 years, only after this time frame will it start to return money and become a profit.
