    1. As I commented on your paper copies we need to add more 'excitement' to your cover. This can be achieved through the use of coloured backgrounds as well as simple filter effects. The vibrant purple on your hood would make a good electric colour for the background. Neon colours would add a night time/ night club feel. Take a look at how DaftPunk are featured on magazine covers and build from that

    2. Reconsider your font choice for ELECTRO. Try and brand him as a band would be branded, look at posters for artists in the style of your fellow

  2. For the contents avoid the double page contents. Look at the style model in the H block corridor opposite media, that contents (whilst admitedly lacking in enough detail for a band 3/4 these days) is a great starting point for a magazine of your ilk. It might also be useful to look at issues of Q or NME which feature electro artists and steal the contents from those.

  3. Your artist (AKA you) MUST feature on the DPS. You sell the magazine after all. If you want to avoid taking pictures of yourself look at what Riley McRory did 2 years ago by using a Vader mask to cover his grandfather's face.
The basic template you've used for columns is a great start, it simply requires a stronger header and article lead in.
